FEIVA International Ministries
Senior Ministers Yodie & Hans Batzke are founders of FEIVA ITINERNATIONAL MINISTRIES based in Cairns Australia. FIM currently provides covering to two international ministries WOMEN OF FEIVA (WOF) International Ministries founded by Pastor Yodie and MEN OF VALOUR & EXCELLENCE (MOVE) founded by Ps Hans. When not travelling abroad internationally, Reverend Yodie with the assistance of Pastor Hans, oversees Feiva Ministries Cairns and Pastor Flora Taylor oversees Feiva Ministries St Pauls Moa Island located in the Torres Straits. As strong advocates for change in families, community and the church, Pastor Yodie has a heart to help individuals and communities understand how to reach their true potential both spiritually and physically. Her unique communication style in presenting the gospel and ability to motivate people in the things of God has touched many lives for Christ.
Serving, teaching and mentoring women in both the secular and church community has been Ps Yodie's passion and commitment for the past 20 years. This passion eventually lead to Ps Yodie birthing Women of Favour Ministry as part of her itinerate apostolic evangelical ministry. Throughout Australia and in particular the Pacific Rim, there is an outpouring of the move of the Holy Spirit never seen before, especially amongst the women of the nations of PNG, Melanesia and Micronesia.
This was evident in 2015 & 2016 when Pastor Yodie conducted 4 ministry trips within 11 months to PNG assisted by her Husband Pastor Hans. The move of the Holy Spirit saw lives of women, men and children experience a prophetic move that has no doubt changed lives forever. In 2015 Ps Yodie founded Women of Favour (now known as FEIVA) International is based in Cairns Australia.
The Inaugural Women of Favour Conference for first nations women from Australia, PNG, Melanesia and Micronesia was held in April 2016 Cairns, Australia. 2017 is going to be an exciting year, when once again Women of Favour will be gathering in Cairns to attend Women of Favour 2017 'The Banquet'. Yes it is time for us to be renewed our minds and spirit with a revelation of God's Favour for our lives.
CHURCH IN THE MARKET PLACE
Outreach and Community Service Programs
With a heart to take the church to the market place, on a regular basis Feiva Ministries Cairns have participated in various community events convened as a city wide outreach. Some of these events have included Freedom 19 convened and hosted by Clear Ministries, which saw several ministries from various denominational coverings, come together to host this event in 2019.
Other service programs have included collecting preloved sporting equipment, children's clothing, stationery and other such items, to be sent to Papua New Guinea and to Thailand. As a result of these outreach programs, ministries located both in PNG and Thailand have been able to establish outreach programs to reach the unsaved and reconnecting families and communities through cricket and soccer. We look forward to extending this program throughout Austral-Asia & Pacific Rim.
In Australia, both Feiva Ministries Cairns and Feiva Ministries St Pauls are continually involved in community outreach and service programs on a voluntary basis.
PRACTICAL MINISTRY
Pastoral Care
On a regular basis, Ps Yodie & Ps Hans are called upon to provide pastoral care to families grieving the loss of a loved one. Pastoral Care provided to families will not only include prayer but assisting families if called upon to be of support during the planning stages of their loved ones funeral. Pastoral Care through prayer has also been provided to community members living in other parts of Australia. It is not unusual for Feiva to assist families experiencing family violence, substance misuse marriage counselling or assisting in regular care and maintenance of gardens and lawns for the elderly and widows.
As a ministry Feiva's main focus of pastoral care includes assisting individuals, couples and families in healing, guidance, supporting, reconciling and empowering them in situations they find too difficult to resolve by themselves at the time. Strict confidentiality is provided when additional support through intercessory prayer is provided to individuals by FEIVA Prayer Network prayer intercessors. Pastor Flora Taylor prior to being ordained under Feiva International Ministries, has had a heart for outreach and evangelism amongst many communities for many many years. Pastor Flora has travelled extensively throughout Far North Queensland and Torres Straits, providing pastoral care to those in need and never fails to openly share the message of Salvation to those she meets.
